Cars, alleys, and libraries — sex was any and everywhere in 2015. Not complaining, just saying!
Claire and Frank, House of Cards
When it happened: Season 3, Episode 2, "Chapter 28"
What made it hot: Claire. If Claire looked at me the way she looks at Frank at any point in my life I'd sprout angel wings and fly to a better, brighter place.
Netflix
Marnie and Desi, Girls
When it happened: Season 4, Episode 1, "Iowa"
What made it hot: OK, to be honest, most of this was not hot, as Jezebel so deftly pointed out. Desi really goes to town on Marnie's ass in a way that makes you borderline nervous for her. It's the fast, uncontrolled motions of a first-timer who's just excited to be invited to this thing. But it did put ass-eating on the plate for straight people, so to speak, and therefore it deserves a mention.

Sam and Gilly, Game of Thrones
When it happened: Season 5, Episode 7, "The Gift"
What made it hot: This episode is titled "The Gift," and what a gift it was. Sweet, bookish, celibate Sam finally has sex with equally sweet Gilly. It's enough to make you yell, "Get that Sam D, Gilly!" Get it, girl.

Don and Diana, Mad Men
When it happened: Season 7, Episode 8, "Severance"
What made it hot: It wouldn't be the final season of Mad Men if we didn't see Don becoming emotionally attached to a woman he barely knows. Enter Diana, the waitress, whom he has sex with in an alley, and then fantasizes about starting a new life with. The alley, while not a "sexy" choice of locale, did have two attractive people in it.
